Two ways in, depending on where you're starting from. With no app: open spentrip.app/whatsapp, send a message, and you're logging expenses. With the app already installed: Settings → WhatsApp gives you a code to send the bot, which links the chat to your existing trips.

Do I need the Spentrip app to use the WhatsApp bot?
No. You can start a chat and log expenses before installing anything — the bot creates an account behind the scenes. Send /signup whenever you're ready and everything you've already logged comes with you.
How do I connect an account I already have?
Open Settings → WhatsApp in the app, copy the 12-character code, and send it to the bot as your first message. That's the whole setup.
What can I send the bot?
Free-form text, a photo of a receipt, a PDF invoice, or a voice message. All four create the same kind of expense.
Is it free?
The WhatsApp channel includes 10 free receipts, counted separately from the app and from the Telegram bot. After that it needs a subscription.
