# Siri Shortcuts > Use Siri voice commands to add expenses hands-free. Set up Siri shortcuts for quick expense tracking. Source: https://spentrip.app/help/siri-shortcuts ## What Are Siri Shortcuts? Spentrip integrates natively with iOS through App Intents, letting you add expenses using Siri voice commands without ever opening the app. Just speak your expense and Siri handles the rest. This is an iOS-only feature. It uses Apple's App Intents framework, so your shortcuts stay fast, private, and deeply integrated with the operating system. ## How to Use It Siri shortcuts are registered automatically when you install Spentrip. There's no manual setup required. 1 #### Activate Siri Say "Hey Siri" or long-press the side button on your iPhone. 2 #### Say the Command Try "Add expense with Spentrip" and describe what you spent. 3 #### Done Siri creates the expense using your current trip and currency. No app launch needed. ## Context-Aware Shortcuts Siri shortcuts in Spentrip are context-aware. They automatically pick up your current trip, currency, and locale settings. When you switch trips or change your locale in the app, the shortcut context updates to match. - **Current trip** — expenses go to whichever trip you have selected - **Currency** — uses the currency from your active trip or default settings - **Locale** — respects your current locale for formatting and language ## Tips and Details - No setup is needed. Shortcuts register automatically when the app is installed. - Context updates happen in real time. Switch your trip in the app, and the next Siri command will use the new trip. - Shortcut data is cleared when you sign out of Spentrip, so your expense context stays secure on shared devices. - This feature is available on iOS only. Android does not support App Intents. ## Related Articles [Voice Mode Add expenses hands-free using speech-to-text inside the app.](/help/voice-mode.md) [Control Center One-tap expense tracking from iOS Control Center.](/help/control-center.md) [Apple Watch Track expenses and view spending from your wrist.](/help/apple-watch.md)
